Bryan Rodriguez - Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified Personal Trainer
When you work with Bryan Rodriguez, you get the pleasure of a book falling open to the right page. He’s a picture of where knowledge meets passion in his dedication to living a physically active and healthy lifestyle. Bryan integrates the structural analysis from Functional Fitness with his understanding of Chinese medicine. Depending on your needs you have the option of working with corrective exercise, personal training and or acupuncture. He will help you rediscover how your physical body can be pain free and how to maintain that through out your life. His longtime motivation to the study of a diverse range of advanced healthcare practices is contagious. You’ll sense right away his desire to share his knowledge with you.

Bryan grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. His early involvement in youth sports led him into avid participation in high school soccer, track and field, martial arts and skiing. In the summers he would go hiking, sailing and water skiing in the Adirondack Mountains in New York.

Education:
Bryan received his bachelor’s degree at Penn State, studying psychology. His career in the health profession began with a 3000 hour Master’s Degree in Chinese medicine. Bryan then progressed steadily in his specialty of pain management and structural integrity. But having exclusively treated physical pain patterns with acupuncture and massage for over 5 years, he wanted to move beyond the mere treatment of pain. He wanted to incorporate preventative techniques to help his clients stay out of pain once he had relieved them. He had been researching different modalities of pain treatment and proper biomechanics for six years when he came across Functional Training, the style of personal training that incorporates proper biomechanics. He found this system to be one of the most complete understandings of exercise science and fitness that he had come across. His calm explanations highlight the primary benefit of this system, which is that you learn the most practical and essential aspects of physical movement, enabling yourself to move through life with stability, flexibility and strength.

Having worked with this system for over a year, Bryan became a certified personal trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine and is a dedicated trainer in Sam Iannetta’s Functional Fitness System. He continues to train personally with Sam and contributes to the center’s ongoing advancement in the understanding of biomechanics and exercise fitness.

Personal Interests:
In fitness training, Bryan has found the perfect blend of work and play because he enjoys helping people of all ages. He loves training people for longevity. You’ll feel it as he helps you get out of pain, get back in shape and get to new higher levels of physical activity. Bryan has been engaged in sports and outdoor activities all his life and currently enjoys hiking, bouldering, biking, tai chi and functional training. Let him boost your adventures, too.
